How do I verify a chat partner in luckychat?

To make your conversations in luckychat even more secure and protect them from unauthorized access, we recommend verifying all users and encrypting the chats. Click on the red icon of an open lock at the top right of the chat. This indicates that the conversation is not yet verified.

Now activate the toggle for “Encrypt this chat” and confirm that you cannot undo the encryption once it is set up.

Click on “Start verification”. It is best to arrange a phone call with your chat partner at the same time to conduct the verification live. By clicking “OK”, the verification process starts.

Both users will now see a pop-up window with a series of emojis that they need to match and confirm.

Once both users have clicked “Match”, the verification is successfully completed. You can also recognize this by the icon at the top right: The lock is now closed.
